Bart Shippee is an independent geotechnical engineering professional who has practiced in construction, design, and civil engineering for over twenty-five years. The quality of SEI’s work represents Bart’s thorough understanding of every aspect of segmental retaining wall design and construction. His expertise is a result of his training and past experience in both civil and geotechnical engineering.
Bart has been called upon to provide expert testimony in numerous forensic wall investigations. His devotion to his field involves continuous learning in wall theory and design methodologies, soil reinforcement technologies, and geosynthetic design. Bart has presented seminars on diverse aspects of segmental retaining wall design, and he was an instructor for the National Concrete Masonry Association’s Level I Installer program.
